In 2005 The Batter’s Box organization was formed with the goal of providing professional instruction to area youth. This instruction was, and still is, focused on the advancement of knowledge and skills in the games of baseball and softball. Over time, individual instruction grew and we received many requests for the organization to offer competitive teams. The work ethic and competitive mentality of our clients formed the roots necessary for our travel teams to evolve. Player development is at the forefront of the process The Batter’s Box staff focuses on to ensure each member is prepared to compete at their highest level.
Many athletes strive for the opportunity to play at the collegiate and professional levels and must be willing to put in the work, time, and dedication it takes. Therefore, the Batter’s Box staff sets high expectations
for every workout, practice, and game. These standards shape our culture and are the basis of our teams’ successes. Such accomplishments include championships at the local and state levels along with top five finishes at national events. Additionally, numerous Batter’s Box alumni and current players have earned all-district, all-region, all-state, and area code game honors.
As impressive as these athletic accolades are, the organization has seen similar successes in the classroom. The Batter’s Box has graduated multiple honor graduates as well as valedictorians and salutatorians. The Batter’s Box staff believes in the total development of a student athlete and expects them to uphold the group’s culture while at school and in the classroom
