Zack Zorn

Coach Zorn was an All-District Infielder for his high school alma mater in Hempstead, Texas. He played with The Batter’s Box from 2011-2012, and played in college East Texas Baptist University from 2012-2013, and started coaching for us in 2013. Coach Zorn is currently the high school baseball coach for Burton High School, and was voted Coach of the Year in the Brazos Valley Region in 2018.

“I chose this profession for two reason. The first is to have the opportunity to work with kids and teach them the great sport of baseball and watch them succeed as they grow. The second is to be able to teach leadership and build young men and women through the sport.

The Batter’s Box is a place I have always felt was a second home for me, because of the time/details they make sure are spent on making kids better men and ball players. With the attention to detail and a willingness in every single aspect, you cannot ask for a better place than The Batter’s Box!”
